On behalf of all the dedicated men and women of the Pensacola Fire Department, I would like to welcome you to our department. Our members work everyday to provide the highest quality services to the citizens and visitors of the city. We provide fire suppression, first response emergency medical services, fire code enforcement and public education programs. We serve a very diverse city population of almost 60,000 with multiple hazards. The City of Pensacola has a dense downtown area, suburban homes and shopping, a busy airport and a port facility. In addition, railway lines run through the middle of downtown.

Our members provide services from 6 fire stations through 6 engine companies, 2 ladder companies, 3 rescue companies and 2 Aircraft Rescue Firefighting units. We are also one of the regionally certified training centers for Northwest Florida. Please enjoy your visit to our site and please feel free to visit us in person.

Pensacola Fire Department would like to present the CBRNE FIRE FIGHTING & RESCUE VESSEL.  Following hours of research and preparation, funds were secured through a Port Security Grant. The vessel is able to pump up to 2000 gallons of water per minute to extinguish shoreline and shipboard fires. Firefighters have received training in safety courses, including first aid, fire extinguisher use and safe boating and navigation.  We are proud to provide another way to offer a service for our community.  If you would like to see this prestigious vessel please feel free to visit the Bahia Mar Marina.
